While kakak Aisyah watches her littlebigplanet walkthroughs (boring!!!) on youtube, I love watching this!

I thought I would escape this time but the flu bug got me. kakak Aisyah was the first one to have the usual flu symptoms. She had skipped school since Friday and we think it's going to be another long holiday for her.

I was also drooling a lot due to teething so Ibu thought it's because of the excess saliva in my mouth. My nose started getting runny and I coughed excessively soon after. I developed a fever a days after kakak got it. It's hard to avoid the bug when you're living under one roof with a sick person.

Fortunately we have a lot of leftover medicines in the refrigerator so Ibu self-medicated us. Some bottles were even unopened from my last hospitalisation stay. Ibu and Ayah followed this guideline that if we have any flu symptoms, we will try to self-medicate for 3 days. Even our paed gave us big bottles of medicines to last us in case we get sick in future. If we got worse or don't seem to improve, it's definitely time to see the doctor.

Does anyone love eating this? It's called Tasty Biscuit Sticks. They're plain but they really are tasty!

Can you spot my 2 teeth? The first one sprouted out from the bottom left and the other one is just at the top right. I have the 3rd tooth coming soon (at the bottom right) and I am one drooling machine. They arent actually perfectly straight but Ibu read that they usually straighten out over time.

Experts disagree about whether teething actually causes symptoms — like fussiness, diarrhea, and fever — or whether these common symptoms are not related to teething at all and just coincidentally appear at the same time as emerging teeth. Regardless, many parents maintain that their teething babies do experience discomfort (though some babies get through the process with no problems at all). The symptoms most likely to trouble a teether include:

• Drooling (which can lead to a facial rash)
• Gum swelling and sensitivity
• Irritability or fussiness
• Biting behavior
• Refusing food
• Sleep problems

Though many parents report that their babies have loose stools, runny noses, or a fever just before a new tooth arrives, most experts don't think teething is to blame for these symptoms. One who does is William Sears, pediatrician and author of The Baby Book. Sears believes that teething can cause diarrhea and a mild diaper rash because your baby's excessive saliva ends up in his gut and loosens his stools. Inflammation in the gums, he thinks, may cause a low fever (under 101 degrees Fahrenheit).

Based on the above analysis, I am easily irritated and I bite kakak Aisyah whenever I'm pissed with her. I suddenly find food not appealing enough causing my parents to worry. I survive on goats' milk and bits of food here and there (if you know what I mean). It's hard being a baby who's teething, you know.

Believe it or not but this is my first time eating icecream. I've never tasted anything sooooo good (well, maybe my milk...hehe) before all thx to kakak Aisyah for introducing the taste to me. :D And no rashes develop after that...phew!

kakak Aisyah didn't want to go to school again today. She promised everyone the night before that she won't kick up a fuss when it's time to go school but she threw a gigantic tantrum. Ibu pacified her and told her that she will be rewarded if she goes to school. She agreed but she was very late to board her school van so Ibu and I sent her to school...yippee! She was sulky all the way to school and even refused to go in when we've reached.

Another one from Ibu's lil camera. Like most kids, I really looooove blowing bubbles. :D adek Sarah enjoys popping them one by one too. It can get really messy because I am clumsy sometimes and spilled quite a bit of soapwater onto the floor.

Btw, the music is from the soundtrack of LittleBigPlanet, one of my favourite games on the PS3. I'm sure Abg Alif can recognise which part of the game this music appears. hehe.

I managed to wake up really early yesterday morning for school. It was my first time going to school using the school van and I was all excited. I was nervous too actually but boarded the school van without shedding a single tear, you know.

But being in a new school (Ibu requested for me to change to the Kovan center frm Tampines) with no friends made me feel a bit depressed. Ayah (who was there with the many parents who were there to see their kids too) saw me getting all emotional (I cried!!) especially when I spotted him amongst the crowd. I completely forgotten about him when it was snacktime. I was just too hungry to feel sorry for myself...hehe! I went back again in the school van and reached home just in time for lunch.

adek Sarah caused a panic when she swallowed a flat and round battery on new year's eve. We were supposed to go to Vivocity (Ayah was waiting for us there) but had to cancel the trip when Ibu found out about it. Ibu was in the loo when it happened. I had finished my lunch and was watching hi5 so I didn't know anything about it. adek found the sealed battery (still in its packaging) and I guess she chewed on it till the seal was broken. Ibu only found the empty packaging when she scooped adek up to change her nappy.

Ibu made a wild guess that adek Sarah had swallowed the battery since the packaging was wet with her drool. She frantically search for the missing battery but it was nowhere to be found and immediately informed Ayah to come back. She was sent for an xray on that very day to check whether the batt is really inside her. The doc also prescribe stool softener so that adek Sarah can poop it out within the next couple of days. Fortunately she did poop it all out yesterday and everyone was relieved.
