...cos I've thrown away my tengteng[s] for good! wat's a tengteng, you ask? it's my pacifier. it's my comfort aid whenever I'm down or when I'm about to sleep. I can't imagine throwing it away but it finally happens. It happened when I went to the doctor for a bout of flu and my favourite paed advised me not to use it anymore because of my blocked nose. I threw my daytime tengteng immediately when I got home.

I couldnt bear to throw the tengteng I used for sleeptime yet that night. However I took the courage to dispense it once I woke up in the morning. I had some withrawal symptoms that evening but that was it. I slept without any difficulty that night and I was 'certified' tengteng-free the following morning. and that's that.

pizza

I love making my own pizzas. You can make your own pizza dough but Ibu buys the pre-made ones so we usually start from there. I can choose my own toppings and sprinkle as much cheese as I want to. The more cheese, the merrier while Ayah looks at mine with disgust cos he hates cheese on his food...hehe.

total defence day

It was the Total Defence Day yesterday. And we get to dress up as nurses, firemen, soldiers and whatever is appropriate for the Total Defence theme to school. I didnt have any suitable costume so I just wear my fireman hat. I also brought my fireengine truck for the exhibition at school. Now...what is Total Defence?
Total Defence about the different things that we can do everyday in every sector of our society to strengthen our resilience as a nation. When we take National Service seriously, participate in civil emergency exercises, upgrade our skills, build strong bonds with different races and religions, and feel the pride of being Singaporean, we contribute to Total Defence.

go fly kite

I flew a kite for the very first time with Ibu and Ayah last weekend! It was great fun although there were only a few gusts of wind which didn't really lift the kite up. Ayah tried making the kite fly by running really fast but the kite just stayed a second in the air and it dropped with a thud onto the ground the next second. Maybe we can go kite-flying in the nearby beach one fine day...can, Ayah?

We went to see the doctor again with Ayah this time. This is my 2nd time at this clinic. I went with Ibu the first time to this clinic after the meds from the first clinic didnt really work on me. I instantly like this doctor from Kidslink because she gave me a sticker book the last time I went.


Anyway I developed a cough last night and my nose is still runny. I even had fever in the wee of hours of morning so I really have to go to the doc before it gets worse. The doc said I am probably like Ibu. I have a sensitive nose and any excessively dusty environment can trigger a nose itch. Besides I just started school and my body is adjusting to the new schedule and environment. I was prescribed syrups for my cough and to clear my airways. Oooh, and this time I got a Winnie the pooh sticker from the doc.
