kakak Aisyah didn't want to go to school again today. She promised everyone the night before that she won't kick up a fuss when it's time to go school but she threw a gigantic tantrum. Ibu pacified her and told her that she will be rewarded if she goes to school. She agreed but she was very late to board her school van so Ibu and I sent her to school...yippee! She was sulky all the way to school and even refused to go in when we've reached.

Salaam sis,

How's Aisyah and school now?

What's the reason/s Aisyah gave for not wanting to go to school?

Just to share....
My son, Mukhtaar used not wanting to go to school because he gave reasons like tired and wanted to go to sleep, he didn't want to shower in the morning, etc. It took quite sometime to get this over. Normally, I experienced that rewards don't really work for this. Hence, I just be persistent and told him the need/s to go to school. That's how I tackled this kind of situation. Cries are common, to the extent of having to carry him to the toilet for shower.

Hmmm.... maybe girls are easier to talk to and discuss matters like this.

Wassalam
Ummu Mukhtaar
