I'm still having the flu. The fever disappeared with paracetamol but temperature rose again after the meds effect wore out. Apart from the fever, my phlegmy cough got worse and my nose was blocked, causing me to be cranky.


After showing no signs of improvement since I got the bug 3 days ago, Ibu decided to bring me to the doctor yesterday. Our favourite GP in Pasir Ris was unavailable so we had to try the next good one at Tampines. The waiting time was horrendous! It took us 2 hours to see the doctor. Fortunately Aunty brought us all out for a spin and came back after a while. We should have gone for a longer time because it's still not my turn yet after we returned. We loitered around the shops before we went back to the clinic. It must be the flu season now because the doc looked sick himself and blew his nose hard when we were about to leave the room.

I think I might be getting the flu bug. My forehead feels feverish and my nose is runny. I've been feeling lethargic and all I want to do is just to lie down. My immune system must be running really low nowadays because this has been the second time this month that I'm sick. :/

Ibu got me a $50 camera from Yahoo!auctions. It's pretty cheap compared to Fisher Price's $120 camera. Ok, maybe the FP camera can be manhandled roughly but that doesn't mean I can throw it around the house. So far I've only taken pictures of everyone in the house and random stuffs. Ibu and I play this game where she will specify the properties of things instead of naming them that I need to take a photo of and off I go. It's great fun.

My nose has been running like a tap since morning...aaargh! My eyes are constantly watery and I hate it when that happens *sniff sniff*. It is really annoying because I could not breathe easily. Gentle blowing is often the treatment I need for a runny nose but if this worsens, I'll probably visit the doctor again tonite.

Ayah will be on reservist these few weeks. He doesn't quite like it because the working hours are crazy. He's on shift work so sometimes he gets some days off but he also works the entire night like yesterday. Since he got a whole day free today, we went to Raffles City to get some groceries. The place wasn't so crowded because it's a weekday and everyone's working. The smell of J.Co Donuts was wafting through the air. I bet Ibu would queue up to get some of her favourite donuts but apparently she managed to control her temptation...hehe. We didn't buy much because we only wanted to get stuffs that we can't get at the nearby NTUC. I was completely zonked out though once I reached home.

See that wall of stickers behind me? That's my sticker wall. Everytime I stay at Nenek's place for the weekend, Nenek or Aunty will give me a packet of stickers for me to stick them on my sticker wall. On good days, I get more than a packet and that's when I go crazy with the sticking.
