I am getting pretty good at plucking the taugey's tail. It takes some skills and patience, you know.

Ayah just bought this game called Resistance 3. Basically you are this hero trying to kill all the aliens that had invaded your town. The aliens were pretty scary especially when they came running after you suddenly. I hate that! Sometimes I play cooperatively with Ayah. Most times I will only watch Ayah play the game. It's really like watching a horror movie because you never know when the aliens are going to appear in front of you.

I love helping Ibu making cookies because it is like playing with playdoh. And you can eat the cookies after you bake them! My favorite cookie is just something plain and simple with some sugar sprinkled on top. Omnomnom!

Kakak and I had been moon-watching for the past few days. We first saw the crescent last week. It was amazing! I have never seen a crescent moon before except in books. We also learnt that there are a few stages of the moon before it turns into a full moon. We saw the crescent and the gibbous outside our window but we are unable to catch the full moon unfortunately.

So what did we do? We cut some paper plates into the different moon stages and painted them. Then we pasted them onto our walls and now we have the different moon phases in our room!

Ibu just put up some of our artwork on the wall on kakak's side. It's easy and the materials are readily available at Popular. You need 2 hooks (we used 3m removeable hooks), some twine and a bunch of clips. You can hang anything from your artwork, photos or even decorative items like balloons. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy!

Although last weekend was not my first stay in the hospital, I was still nervous on The Day. Well, who woudn't be if they were going to be cut up? *eeeps!* my surgery starts at 8.00am and I have to be at the hospital at an hour earlier. My last breastfeeding session was at 5.00am because I can't eat anything prior to my surgery. Furthermore I had to wake up reeeeeeeealy early. I got crankier when I wanted my vuvunenen a few minutes before I went to the operating theatre but ibu told me she can't feed me. A hungry kid is an angry kid! I struggled when the nurses put on a mask on me. I had no idea why they did that but I began to fall asleep after this lady in white counted to three.

I was still sleeping after my surgery. I did open my eyes a bit to see if Ibu was still with me but something made me fall asleep again. Ibu said I woke up about an hour later because some kid was screaming his lungs out after his surgery. And I asked for food after that. Ibu asked one of the nurses to provide milk+biscuits but I vomited everything out that I ate. The nurse told Ibu that I will have to stay at the hospital if I vomited again. Fortunately I didn't. It must be because of wind in my tummy. I was discharged at noon but it wasn't over yet. The pain returned when it's time for another round of paracetamol. I would be playing without a care in one moment and I would suddenly clutch my tummy in another. I guess I have to tahan this cycle for the next of days. *sigh*

Ibu found a lump near my abdomen on Hari Raya. She thought it might go away when I pooped but it didn't. She suspected it was hernia and went to see Dr Oh the very next day. The paed sent me for an ultrasound at Mt. Alvernia and the report showed that there's indeed a hole in my abdomen wall which causes water to come through and caused the lump. It must be because of my chronic constipation problem that has caused the wall to tear. :(

Dr Oh then referred me to see a Dr Cheah at Gleneagles Hospital. He operates on kids and has done a lot of hernia surgery. The surgeon explained to us about hernia and I was scheduled for a surgery this coming weekend. Somehow we managed to get a slot for the operating theatre at a short notice. Oh well, it's better to get everything done and over with. Wish me all the best!
