The teachers brought my friends and I went to East Coast Park for an excursion. The last time I went to the beach was many many years back. I was still a baby then, I think. So it's like the first time for me.

We played frisbee and some ball games there. I even collected some leaves and did some bark-tracing on a piece of paper. It was a beautiful day to be out in the beach. Ibu and adek came later to fetch me home and we stayed a while to collect some seashells. The seashells were really small and we didn't see much either. Oh well, we had fun anyway!

Ibu suddenly had an idea from an inspiration at ohdeedoh to 'construct' a mini-tent for us. All you need a HUGE blanket or any kind of cloth (we took Ayah's kain pelekat for our tent...hehe). We pinned the sides of the kain pelekat to our bedrails with clothes peg. We brought our books and read under the tent and even pretended we were in a cave.

We went out with nenek Ros to ToTT a few days back. Nenek wanted to get some stuff there and Ibu also needed to spend some vouchers she got for her birthday. Although we've been there quite a few times, we like going there because it's spacious and there aren't much people at the place. And of course it's one of Ibu's favourite shopping place!

After that we dropped by the new shopping mall at nex, Northeast BIGGEST mall. It's indeed HUGE because we were lost trying to find our way. We didn't even manage to check out their waterplay areas at the rooftop. Maybe next time!

We have a confession to make. We are addicted to cinnamon toasties!!! These are basically just buttered toast with cinnamon+sugar on top. But they taste heavenly...waitaminute, how can you taste heaven?!! Anywaaaaay...fortunately these are VERY simple to make so we can have these for breakfast, teatime and even after dinner. Ibu got the recipe from aunty ovenhaven's site. If you like the sound of the cinnamon toasties, try and make one for yourself!

Cinnamon Toasties
From ovenhaven

2 slices of bread
butter, to spread
1 tbsp brown sugar
1⁄4 tsp ground cinnamon

1.In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
2.Butter your bread slices, and sprinkle / spoon the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on the surface, patting it down so it sticks.
3.Toast your bread (but keep watch, so it doesn’t burn!) until the cinnamon sugar caramelises, and the surface appears dry. Cut each slice into 4 fingers, and eat happily!

One morning, I asked Ibu if I can have a papadom for breakfast. She gave me a HUGE piece which I happily gobble it up. I wish I can have a few more but of course, Ibu disallow it. Hmmph!

I had a chance to visit the Singapore Art Museum with my schoolmates and teachers last Wednesday. I thought it would be a very boring trip but I was wrong. I learnt so much during the museum visit.

There were so many colourful paintings and cool sculptures to look at. There was a lady to tell us about the art pieces so that we can understand what they are all about. Well, you know about art pieces. They can be so confusing at times! Sometimes my parents don't understand my sketches at all. :p
