I went to Changi Airport T3 before it would be officially opened on 9th January 2008 with Ibu and a few of her friends. It is super spacious and we walked quite a lot although I was in the stroller most of the time. Most shops are not open yet except for McDonalds, Candy Empire and some others. It's glass-walled everywhere and I felt like I'm in Willy Wonka's factory. I guess this might be my only chance of a lifetime to walk through the transit area of T3. Too bad there aren't any butterflies in the Butterfly Garden yet but I was wondering how many of those 'escaped' butterflies will be sucked into the engines of the planes in future? hmmm.

...but did you know there's a playground at level 3 of Junction 8? It's very hot when we went there because it's not airconditioned like the rest of the shopping centre.

There are a couple of slides and a play section for mini people like me. It wasn't anything to boast about but I had some cheap thrill.

Ibu and Ayah brought me to eXplorerKid at Downtown East before putting me at Nenek's house yesterday *clever them! :P*. It was a pretty HUGE place meant for older kids but not for me. I wanted to climb the play structure but my feet were too small and kept slipping through the holes of the net. The toddler section was pretty much disappointing. It's really a small area with a pathetic ballpit. There was another boy in the ballpit and he threw a ball at me and I threw one back. How boring can it get? Nevertheless I made full use of the $6 we had to pay and I climbed up the steps, went down the slide and walked around eXplorerkid continously for half and hour before Ibu found out that I had poop'ed in my diaper. I actually wanted to tell her when my 1hr of playtime is up. hehe.

Ibu made some flashcards of the Arabic Alphabets she found on this website. You can download the PDF file and print them to make giant posters or cut them into flashcards. There are not only alphabets but also numbers and fruit names in Arabic. Pretty nifty.

I got this construction hat at Toys' R Us a month back and I like it sooo much that it's always on my head. My atok wears the same hat too when he's at work, supervising some workers. And another favourite person of mine, Bob the Builder wears exactly the same one too. :D

And I thought I could start on proper yummy meals again but I was wrong. I pooped sticky goo 5 times yesterday..even woke Ibu up to give my butt a wash at 4am. Ibu thought the last poop before lunch was the last sticky episode since it was not much compared with the previous amount of poop. But when I woke up after my afternoon nap just now, I let out a round of sticky poop and another one during my dinner. Ibu then decided to rush me to the nearby paed for a checkup. By then it was near closing time and fortunately the nurse allowed us to see the doc (only if we reached there within 10minutes!). I was prescribed some meds including Smecta but I really hate the taste of this particular chalky-looking liquid. yucks!!! It tastes like chalk...even my chalk taste better. :P I even have to go on a 'Japanese occupation' diet (in the words of the paed) which includes only porridge+kicap, plain bread and no dairy stuffs. We got a sample tin of Nursoy on the paed's recommendation but it tastes like crap *not that I've tasted it* and I prefer my good ol' Pediasure. Oh well, so far so good. No poop...yet. I hope I won't have constipation later.

I went to the clinic again and I was certified pox-free by Dr Kartika yesterday. I don't need to eat the antibiotics again and I can enjoy my chickens and eggs again. I just had chicken soup just now..*buRp!* And the best thing is the marks on my forehead are disappearing. yay!

It looks like I can't go out for a couple of week due to this thing I'm having called the chikin pox. There are 2 scabs on my forehead right now and they are a tad itchy. I wonder why it's called chikin pox because they don't look anything like chikins to me! Anyway Ibu discovered another lesion on my right shoulder and she immediately brought me to Dr Kartika yesterday. The thing I like about going to Dr Kartika is I get to play at the toy corner of her clinic. Like most days, there isn't anyone playing at the section. It's either the mini people were too sick or the patients were too big to play anyway.

Lucky me because I was the last patient before the clinic closed. The doc checked for any throat infections, or other lesions on other parts of my body but there were none but it's confirmed! I have the chikin pox. I was prescribed some antibiotics and I have to see her again this weekend. She also told Ibu to monitor me and look for any signs of fever, cough or vomitting but I'm just more concerned with the aftermath. Will the scars go away? I'm feeling itchy-scratchy now. yikes!

I have my own notebook which I got from Abang Alif. Of course it's oh-so-boring compared to the PCs. The images are monochromatic and they keep replaying the instructions with the same tone but I can revise my ABCs, 123s and shapes at the notebook anytime and anywhere.
