We didn't do anything fancy this Eid except Ibu and Ayah brought me to Mak Ngah's place which is only a few blocks away. There were lots of nice food. Nenek cooked briyani and I didn't get to taste it, as usual. :P There were the usual rendang, sambal goreng, kuah lodeh, ayam masak merah and some others which I can't remember. Ibu gave me a teeny-weeny bit of kueh baulu though. She doesn't want to give me too much sugary stuffs till I'm 2.

There were abang Alif, kak syafiqah and kak yumi but of course, they arent interested playing with me. Maybe I'm just too small for them. Adam also came but he was either wailing for his milk or because he's having a tummy upset. And he sleeps much too. So I was left playing alone and terrorising the bigger kids, taking away their toys and running away in glee. Abang Alif was constantly bugging me to return his toys back but I refused. I only know this point: What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine as well. He must be really pissed at me. hehe.

When I got all cranky because I need my afternoon nap, we bade everyone farewell and went home.

i can walk...i can walk!

and now the BIG people kept telling me to not walk so much. They are so ironic. They want me to walk and now they want me to stop. But this is my freedom!

Ibu said that at the rate I'm walking in my waking hours, I would have reached Muar (wherever that is but it sounds far!) already. *giggles*

Dear Mr Mamypoko,

Can I have a size between M & L pls? The M size is a tad too small for me because the seams left some marks and L is a tad too big for me because when I poopoo, the poopoo keeps going 'everywhere' in my diapers. I need to keep adjusting the poopoo all the time to keep it in place until someone finds out I've poopoo'ed. And the poopoo 'escapes' when I'm wearing the mampoko in L size because it's simply too large for me. It looks ugly on me too when I wear it...like some oversized bunch of plastic hanging 'down' there...*ack!* That's all, Mr Mamypoko. Bye.

lots of love,
Aisyah

This looks so cool. It looks like my pacifiers and after looking at them, I sure think my current collection is plain-looking.

This is definitely going to be handy in future.

To help us “baby-illiterates” and possibly those in the medical profession, a facial recognition program is being developed by scientists at Missouri State University that will supposedly allow you to interpret facial expressions of infants. So far, it’s been shown to be better than 90% accurate in differentiating facial expressions of babies receiving “heel pricks” compared to those receiving a gentle blowing on the face (wow, a tough one).

I was a colicky baby. When I was lil, I woke up at funny hours in the night and wailed for Ibu. I don't know what's wrong with me but I just needed someone to pacify me. Ibu would drowsily carry me in her arms and tried putting me to sleep. Well, I didn't sleep most of the time and kept awake for a couple of hours.

Till today I still have bouts of wind in my tummy like just now. Maybe it's because I didn't have a proper breakfast and ate quite little of my lunch. It was so bad that even when Ibu brought me to my favourite place, the Fridge, I kept shaking my head and screamed for my life. She instantly knew I was in pain like the prev time and put me on the bed and quickly applied some minyak telon on my tummy while Ayah rubbed minyak telon on my thighs. Ayah also gave me some gripe water to drink to help me release the wind. I fell asleep on Ibu's shoulders after all the cries. It was tiring.

Ibu and Ayah brought me out to Funan Centre today. We went together with Nenek to get Ibu's reserved lens at a camera shop. There's nothing much to see except when Nenek brought me to a shop to see lil fishes swimming in a monitor while Ibu got her lens. After the short trip, we went to Sakura Restaurant which was only a walking distance away to have our dinner. Well, it's for their dinner actually. As usual, I have to watch them eat and all I get was some cheerios. :P but it was much fun to see buses from where I sat and I got sooo excited everytime I see one past by. It wasn't long before I got bored from sitting too long in the restaurant (although Ibu said it was only for 30min) and I wanted out. I began to stand on the chair and pointing outside to leave the place. Everyone finished their food quickly (luckily nobody choked on their food...hehe) and we were out within minutes after that.

I have a new hideout place. It was a gift from one of Ibu's friends actually. There are many colourful balls inside and I have spongebob and patrick as company. I can read my books, have my biskots or just lazing around with my bantal bushuk. I can even watch teevee from here. I wish I have a cooling system in here though. It can get pretty warm after sometime. Anyone joining me? :D

Another one of those breakfast-in-bed moments...hehe. Isn't life great? Usually I just have a bottle of milk for breakfast but when I woke up in the morning, Ibu has prepared my bread with cheese on a plate along with some raisins in a bowl. yumyum. Now when can I have Milo for breakfast?

foot'yI've started walking quite a bit lately. I will wobble my way to my destination but always sit down hard on my bum. *ouch* fortunately my mamypoko absorbed much of the impact...hehe. It's really a matter of gaining confidence on my part because I do most of the walking on the bed or the mattress on the floor. I get scared easily and sit down the moment I think I'm falling. Ayah has bought me a pair of Bobux shoes to encourage me to practise walking when I'm outside although research shows that babies actually learn to walk better when they’re not wearing shoes.

Now the BIG people think that I was sick last week because I am acquiring some new skills. And coincidentally I'm walking more frequently now. Hmmm..that's hard because I have to be sick to learn something new. I haven't even started talking and running. ack!

Now that I'm more mobile, I can explore every nook and cranny in the house. Sometimes I play hide&seek with Nenek. She would suddenly find me missing and called out my name. I ignore her and keep as quiet as a mouse. Sometimes I can be found hiding in the computer room, trying to reach for the books on the shelves. Sometimes I'll be behind the BIG dining table in the living room, watching Nenek run into each room to find me...hehehe. Last week I hid inside Aunty Zah's room and checked out her mirror. I love mirrors. I can see another lil person in the mirror who looks like me. When I touched my hair, she touched hers. When I opened my mouth, she opened hers too. Weird. :P I looked at her for quite some time before Nenek finds me, pushed me out of the room and close the door. bummer.

I've been feeling feverish for the last couple of days but it's a lot better today. It's defintely not a nice feeling because my energy has gone to god-knows-where. I think I lost some weight too and a bit of my cheeks too. :( The doc prescribed me some paracetamol for the fever and it made me sleepy. I couldn't sleep at night and I kept tossing and turning in bed, trying to find a comfortable position to sleep. Talking about being sick, Ibu told me that her biga** camera is in the camera hospital. That sounds bad.
