Inside my lunchbag

My classes end at 3.25pm from Mondays-Thursdays. However I go home early at 2pm on Fridays because there's Friday prayers. Since the duration is long, I have 2 breaks at school which is recess and lunch. Ibu packs me food everyday in a small lunchbag. They are nothing fanciful. I bring food like sausage rolls, chicken rice or just plain rice with some meat/fish and a small portion of vege/fruit. Sometimes I buy food from the canteen but queueing really wastes my time. Sometimes it's even longer when there are students who jump the queue...grr. Fortunately I bring food from home.

I fell while climbing onto the sofa yester'night. Actually Ibu and Ayah had repeatedly reminded me NOT to climb the sofa but well, being me, I still do it every now and then. But I was unlucky this time and fell head-down and hit the ground with a loud thud. The rest, as they said, was history.

A discovery!

We found a playground with swings over the weekend! It's within a walking distance from our home so we can go there every week...well, maybe till we get tired of it...hehe. It's empty when we get there because it just rained so the slides and swings were wet. But we still tried them after the rain stopped despite getting our bums wet. :p believe it or not but this is our first time playing on the swing and we're super-excited aka super-jakon. Hehe. Adek sat on a swing and refused to let go. She was really enjoying herself on it. I basically ran around the playground and whooshed down the slide and tred going as high as I can on the swing, It was really, really fun. This playground deserves to be on my "to-go" playground list!

...I did some counting exercise at home with ibu. I can pretty much count from 1-10 and recognise all the uppercase alphabets. ibu is now teaching me lowercase alphabets and their sounds. I am still confused between b and d, and p and q. Quite tricky, arent't they?

Bunnies' fav snack

Carrotsticks are currently my fav snack. Carrot sticks have a nice crunch and sweetness to them. I prefer the baby carrots because they are sweeter and small (like me! Hehe). I can finish up the whole bowl all by myself.

Here are some fun facts about carrots:

• Carrots were one of the earliest vegetables grown by man
• Carrots are related to parsley.
• In the past the leaves were used to decorate the hats of royalty
• Doctors say that carrots improve vision, especially at night because of their very high level of vitamin A (carotene).

First day

I had to wake up rather early today because it was my first day of school. Ayah didn't work so he sent me to school. Ibu and adek also followed us. When I reached school, there were sooo many other students who were there. I was quite nervous but I didn't cry like when i started nursery. I am too big for that already! :p



Since it was my first day at school, I haven't made any friends and I was feeling rather bored. We didn't study but was brought around the school for orientation. A kakak befriended me and another classmate and I wasn't feeling nervous anymore. In fact, I was enjoying myself! I made a few friends...well, actually I made friends with all my classmates.



It was a very long day at school with a recess break at about 9.55am and lunchtime at 12.55pm. I also did my Zuhur prayers at school with all my new friends. Normal schools end at about 1pm but my school ends at 3.25pm. It's because I got more subjects to learn and there's lunch time and zuhur time thrown into my timetable. I was tired but am looking forward to tomorrow.
