It was adek Sarah's birthday last Thursday and we did a mini celebration on the weekend. We invited the 'usual suspects', untyzah+umar and nenekros+toknal. Abg Alif couldn't come to the party because he was circumcised last week and I don't think he can join the party (get well soon, Abg Alif!). Ibu did a rainbow cake. It looked really bad but there are 6 colourful layers inside it.

Feeling colic'y

I had been having this very bad tummyache since yesterday and Ayah decided to bring me to the nearby 24hr clinic just now. Usually my tummyache will subside after a round of ridwind (drops for wind in the tummy) or gripe water. But it got worse after dinner and I couldn't tahan the pain anymore that I cried. Ibu and nenek massaged my tummy, thighs and soles to ease my tummy but it was no use. I was feeling nauseaus but couldn't puke out anything. I hate this feeling! My tummy was slightly better after I swallowed 5ml of colimix (for the wind). I burped and farted quite a bit before I slept. I hope this will go away before I start school. What a way to start the holidays. :(

My last day at school

It was my last day at school today. I had been at Hanis Kovan since K1 and it has been a fun experience. But I think I am not going to miss my friends because some of them were pretty nasty to me. Well, maybe I will miss a few like Haziq and Alissa Dina. Anyway, we had a nice farewell party. There were yummy-looking cupcakes, colourful drinks and lots of other sweet stuff. I also gave some cookies to my teachers. We took lots of photographs and bade farewell to each other. I can't wait to go to my new school next year!

Our new kitchen set

I had always wanted a kitchen set to do my masak-masak and my birthday is the right time to ask for it (I got it waaaaay before my birthday). We had wanted to get something nicer but those that are nice are expensive and we do not have any younger girl cousins to pass our girlish stuff. The cheaper ones were pretty ugly so Ibu made one frm boards. Ibu said the one she built was ugly too *hehe* but after using this for maybe a year, we can just recycle the boards or just chuck them into the bin.

Choc muffins and a video

We made chocolate muffins yesterday and we also made our very first video for our 2 little bakers website. What's 2 little bakers? Since Ibu has been baking quite a bit, she decided to put all our baking adventures there. And if you still don't know, 2 little bakers actually refers to both me and adek Sarah. Clayplay

Ibu & Ayah introduced us to jumping clay recently and we were hooked. It is like playdoh but it's lightweight and is an air-dry polymer, meaning it dries up after sometime left in the open. It doesn't become stonehard like paper clay but has that bounce when dried. It's not that expensive but still more expensive than playdoh. It has a nice scent probably to attract little people like me. It's not a good idea to work with a big batch at a time because they stick so so easily. Ibu also supervises us and only allow us to take bit by bit. The clay also tends to retain details after a while so it's best to work quickly. So does it jump as its name suggests? Yes, it jumps (bounces) when thrown to the ground. Hehe.
