It feels like only yesterday that I was at the doctor's and here I am again. The flu bug got me and it's worse this time. I was fine the day before and even had our dinner at Ramenten. I was feeling feverish in the wee hours of the morning and of course, school's out for me. Anyone with a fever or any signs of a cold shouldn't go to school anyway but I still saw friends with dripping noses and coughing fits in class. *sigh*

I am a kakak already because I have a new cousin. Her name is Adilah and she is 5 months younger than me. She is Abg Adam's little sister. She is still very tiny and sleeps most of the time we were there. Mak Long said she's on the night shift which means she sleeps a lot in the day and wakes up at night. I was like that once too. I can't differentiate between day and night because it's basically dark in Ibu's tummy anyway but I'm ok now and Ibu can sleep longer hours at night.

Ibu and Ayah were invited to one of Nenek's neighbour's wedding last weekend. Ayah couldn't come because Tok Jo was hospitalised so Ibu, Nenek, Sarah and me went. Yep, girl power...hehe! Tok is still unwell to follow us. All of us dressed our best. Even Ibu wore her baju kurong.

I don't even know how a wedding is supposed to be like because this is my first time attending one. There were so many people when we arrived and it was really noisy too! Everyone was queueing for food and brought the plates back to the round tables.

We got ourselves a table and I ate rice with a bit of chicken. One of the tukang masak saw adek Sarah and volunteered to carry her around. After adek Sarah showed her infamous jebik to the makcik and looked as if she was about to cry, she was returned back to us. Adek Sarah let out a couple of farts and 'demanded' to go home. Fortunately home was only a block away. Ibu quickly went home to get her changed while we stayed behind to wait for the pengantin.

I went to Marina Square with Sarah, Ibu, Nenek and aunty yesterday to have dinner. Ayah couldn't come because he had to be in the hospital to accompany Tok Jo. Atok was down with fever so he couldn't follow us too.

Since Nenek likes the Irish lamb stew at Secret Recipe, we had our dinner there. Ibu had black pepper chikin dish while aunty had some pasta dish. I ordered fish and chips which is a pretty small serving. We had dessert too after that. Aunty ordered a banana choc cake and I had a scoop of choc icecream...yumyum! And what did Sarah do? She had to watch us eat. hehe. Wait till you're a bit older, ok. :D

And the best part of dinner was Ayah met us there. Although it was only for a while, we were happy to see him. :) We had to part our ways after dinner because Ayah had to go back to the hospital. We went to Nenek's favourite place, Kiddy Palace and Mothercare to get me and Sarah some clothes. Aunty and Ibu also bought me a couple of books, Maisy goes to the Playground and A big book of Boardgames. Our last stop was the Crocs store to buy a pair of Crocs for me. We reached at home at only 9pm+ and we were already asleep by then.

Poor Tok Jo! He was hospitalised this morning due to some heart complication. Ayah had already taken a half day leave. Ibu decided to visit him at the hospital after knowing about his condition. Since it's a school day, I had to ponteng (read: be absent). I was more than happy to comply, of course.

Nek Sal, Obek and Adam's Opah were also there when we reached Alexandra Hospital. Tok Jo's looked pretty bad because he was unconscious when I saw him. He had lots of tubes all around him and he didn't even move a single bit. I hope he gets well soon.

I love them big and small. They do the same thing. They float softly in the air until something magically pops them...pretty!

Bubbles are films of a solution stretched around some kind of fluid, usually air. The film that is easiest to make is a soap (or detergent) in water
solution. The film has thickness and an inside and an outside. Soap and detergent molecules are long thin molecules with many hydrogen atoms that
attract each other. They have an electrically charged end that is attracted to water. The soap bubble surfaces have the soap or detergent molecules arranged so that they line up side by side. In the middle of the film is a water and soap solution.

This is what I did when Ibu took a picture of me yesterday. Ibu brought me to meet her friend, Cik Fadhlina, at Coffeebean Downtown East for a quick lunch together while kakak Aisyah was at school. :p Ibu and her fren didn't do anything much except chatting over their lunch. And me? I pooped, got cleaned up and drank my milk.

I have managed to do a turn on my tummy recently. It was quick and unexpected. I was shocked initially when I finally did it but after a few tummy turns, it feels kinda fun. You get to see the world in a different perspective and this excites me very much. The tiring part was when I have one of my hands tucked beneath me and I had to squirm myself a few times to get it out. I really must learn to push myself up faster. The big people say that tummy turn can strengthen my arm muscles. Wow, I really wish I have some muscles so that I can crawl in no time.

Tummy time promotes the development of strong head and neck muscles by allowing the baby to hold up the head against gravity. During tummy time, babies bear weight on their arms and hands, learn to reach with the eyes and the hands together, and eventually move through space to explore.

As babies gains strength in the third month, tummy time becomes more fun. Their first random movements enhance posture and coordination, eye tracking, arm rotation and hand strength. The result is a firm foundation for crawling, creeping, manipulating toys and later drawing with a pencil. Four and five month old babies are more purposeful, scooting and pivoting to reach toys. If you place a rolled up towel under a baby‘s chest and armpits, allowing him to be slightly inclined, he will smile and then reach out for stimulating objects.
