It's been quite a while since I updated this blog. I was hospitalised for almost a week because of a bacteria infection. kakak Aisyah had to stay at Nenek+Atok's place. She recovered a few days before me but I was unlucky and caught the bug a second round.
After being on antibiotics for 3 days and my fever shot up to nearly 40deg, our paed advised ibu+ayah to bring me to the hospital for a blood test and an xray. We went to Kandang Kerbau Hospital(KKH) to see the doctor there. I was given the pink fever med and was told to wait for an hour to see if my fever goes down. Since my temperature went back to normal, we were told to go back. I can only go back to KKH if my fever didn't subside by Saturday. I was later admitted to Mount Alvernia Hospital when my temperature got higher the next night. The blood test and xray results showed that I have phlegm and water in my right side of lungs. I was given rounds of nebuliser with ventolin, fever med and antibiotics. I hate taking them! My temperature went up and down like a rollercoaster so I couldn't even go back on Hari Raya. My first Hari Raya and it was spent in the hospital. Sad, huh?
I can finally go home on the 2nd day of Raya and boy, was I excited when I reached home with no needle on my hand. Yippee!

Ibu took this with her crappy handphone and I like it very much! Look at the light halo...cool, isn't it?

No wonder kakak Aisyah likes to be on the computer. Banging on the keyboard is F U N!! *bangs fists on keyboard*

My parents wear the spectacles to make them see better. At least Ibu can still see when she doesn't wear hers but Ayah can't see anything if he lost his specs. Ibu and Ayah have been advising me and kakak Aisyah not watch tv too near and rest our eyes after a few minutes of playing the computer to curb myopia. However they also believe that bad eyesight is hereditary so kakak Aisyah and myself might just wear specs one day. And if I do have to wear one, I want something stylo like in the pic...can or not, Ibu? :D

adek Sarah likes to selit2 in lil corners while sleeping. Fortunately she's not sleeping on the bed but on the floor mattress. She fell once when she was 6mo while sleeping on Nenek's bed and she has been 'banished' to sleep on the floor just to be safe. I remembered I fell quite a number of times from the bed when I was little too. To think of it, maybe babies do need helmets to keep them safe.

I've started snacking in between my meals and I even have my favourite, Organix's sweetcorn rings. Ibu said that it tastes like cheezels except this has no salt and no colourings, bla bla. I love its sweetness and crunchiness...even kakak Aisyah loves it! Since I can't eat keropok like kakak Aisyah, I have this as an alternative...*omnomnomnomnom*

In the midst of Ramadhan, we managed to go to one of my favourite places in Singapore, Geylang Serai. Yep, you read it right. I like going to Geylang Serai. People often find it funny whenever I tell them so but well, it's like Ikea except it doesn't have aircon except for Joo Chiat Complex and Tanjong Katong Complex. Anyway we went to Geylang Serai to get food for iftar since my grandparents and unty+uncle Shah are coming over. Geylang Serai has changed a lot and it looks different from the last time I was there. They even have a new Geylang Serai market. I waited with Abang Alif and his ayah at some corner while the ladies went to grab some food. That place is crowded but we survived the trip and got back home on time. phew!
