Ibu is sleeping at Nenek's house today so which means I can play with her all day long! That also means that her back is ok. Well, I would say it's almost ok because she still makes sure she lies down reeeeeeally slowly and gets up reaaaaaaally slowly again. I accidentally slapped her back while playing peek-a-boo with her and she yelped in pain. oops...! sorry, Ibu. :P If all goes well, I'll be back in Bishan in a few days time.
Got the area beneath my eyes and near my left cheek bruised this morning. I tried climbing up the kitchen dining chair when my foot slipped and the chair 'terjongket ke depan'...as my nenek puts it and hit my face on the corner. and of course, i wailed like crazy. nenek applies some minyak bobot (don't ask me what's a minyak bobot though) and it felt better now. I hope it will go away by Hari Raya. I don't want to look as if I was punched in the face.
And what do I do at Nenek's house? Doodling, of course...apart from playing at the playground with Tok and going for car-rides with Aunty Zah.
And this is Barney, my favourite purple dinosaur. Everyone can't recognise the drawing at first but when I tell them excitedly that it's 'Barr-neeey', they can somewhat see the resemblance. Hey, see the purple colours? :P
I visited Ibu yesterday with the Pasir Ris gang (nenek+atok+aunty zah..hehe). I was hopping and jumping like crazy on the bed but she just sat at the corner of the bed and didn't jump with me like what she would usually do. Her back must still be in pain. Poor Ibu! But Ibu was ok enough to make me a cup of milo mixed with a bit of pediasure and it tasted simply yummy'licious. It would be nicer if I could have these cookies to go along with the milo.
These delicious, yet inedible, play cookies are made from felt, beads and love by Nana.Waitaminute, they're not real?? Oh..sheesh.
I saw Nenek when I woke up yesterday morning. That's weird because I thought she's supposed to be in Pasir Ris. I also saw Ibu, all ready to go somewhere. She was slightly hunched and she tried to kiss me with great difficulty. Nenek said Ibu had to go to the doctor because she had a lil accident in the mornin. I am now staying at my nenek's house because Ibu's resting at home with an injured back. Get well soon, Ibu! We were just jumping on the bed and golek2'ing on the bed the night before the accident. I hope your ribs will heal quickly and we can play together again.
On some days, I feel a tad too hardworking and help Ibu with the housework. Take sweeping as an example. Sweeping is generally an easy household chore.
First you have to find a broom..like duh! The broom I'm using is not too heavy to manage. Some people like to to walk around the room and then sweep all the dust into one corner of the room while some like to start from the end of the room and pile all the dust in sections. Ibu likes to start from the end of a room and then collect the dust into one pile. You can use short quick motions or long sweeping ones while sweeping. I like to use longgggggggg and slowww sweeping ones. Finally sweep all the dust into a pile to be collected into a dust pan. Don't forget to throw them away into the rubbish bin.
Ayah has changed my alphabet mat for a new Winnie the Pooh mat he bought at Minitoons. When I first saw it, I was soopa excited...so excited that I quickly rushed to get my butt on it the moment Ayah placed it on the floor. The mat is so much more colourful and it's also easier for Ibu and Ayah to clean the floor beneath it. Although the alphabet mat was a fun place to play on with the removable alphabet pieces but it's troublesome to piece them up together after cleaning the floor.
I used to love sleepin on my side hugging a pillow but nowadays I 'tonggeng' a lot when sleeping. Ibu jokingly said that maybe I have worms in my tummy and that's why I 'tonggeng' a lot in my sleep. But I remember reading and even blogged once about how our sleep positions can give out out personality clue.
Freefall (7%): Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situationsQuoted from http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3112170.stm
I think both Ibu and Ayah will surely agree with the 'don't like criticism' part because I heard Ayah mention that I get sulky whenever he 'tegor' me. Well, blame it on Ibu because I think I got it from her. heh. Genes play a part too, you know.
