It was my first time walking on grass while waiting for the taxi to go back to Bishan. Usually I just stay at the pavement with my grandparents while both Ibu and Ayah try to flag a taxi. I was quite hesitant at first but after a few rounds of walking around, it was actually quite easy. I don't get much practice walking on grass, so I walk funny when I'm on it. But I did have fun striding my foot across the grassy patch.

Ibu said she's buying a bicycle so that she can explore around Bishan and lose all her tummy fats too. heheee. At the same time I can also 'tompang' her and take a ride. I thought this might be a good alternative to being put at the back of the bicycle. There's different speeds and the front compartment can comfortably seat two lil people like me as well as several bags of groceries. Ibu can then ride the bicycle to NTUC for some grocery shopping but going up and down the stairs of our flat will be a problem and not to mention the attention it will attract.
Ibu took a special route to Nenek's house yesterday.
We took the taxi to Kembangan MRT and off we took the train to Pasir Ris MRT station.
Then we took a bus to Nenek's house. The last time I took the MRT was when me and Ibu met her friend in Ang Mo Kio so I was pretty ecstatic when Ibu told me we'll be taking the MRT. yippeee! It saved Ibu some $$$ and furthermore this is way, way more exciting than just taking the taxi so I think we will be using this route in future. I get to see more people in a new surrounding. Ahh, cheap thrill.
...to my birthday! *gasp!* i'm that old already? Ibu said I am more baikkkkk now. In fact, everyone says so especially when I showed my tantrums, throwing myself on the floor and rolling about to get the things I want. But these people are getting used to my tantrums because they will always ignore me. gah!
Size-wise, I'm still pretty petite compared to my peers. but Abang Alif and Abang Amin believe that I'm the one who's always terrorising them. hah. Whenever they know I'm coming for a visit, they keep all their toys away from me because my policy is simple. What's mine is mine and what's yours is also MINE. hehe.
Contrary to popular beliefs that TV doesn't teach mini people like me new words, I learnt words like "stretch" and "jump" from my favourite purple dinosaur, Barney.
"With the tremendous success of programs such as 'Teletubbies' that target very young children, it has become important to understand what very young children are taking away from these programs," Krcmar said. "We would like to think it could work, that Teletubbies and other programs can teach initial language skills. That is not true."
Maybe Teletubbies sucks but Barney does teach a word or two. :P Here's sort of a list of words that I can speak. It's never a complete list because I learn new words everyday.

Ok, so that's about it! I'm not into blogging my developmental updates but I hope this will do.
Ibu saw this cool book while reading ilovemybaby.
He can be a soccer coach…a jar opener…a hand when he needs a support…bug catcher when the child is being bugged…and most importantly an ATM machine whenever required.
Dad’s would love to know how important is he to his child and how valuable an asset is he to the family.
I think I can use my Ayah for a lot of things other than that...like asking him to do stuffs for me when asking Ibu is like waiting for my other teeth to grow and getting Ayah to play hide-and-seek with me.
oooh, and that's not all...there are also other books with titles like 40 Uses for a Grandpa and 31 users for a Mom. I can just get one of each and give the people in my life and telling them how useful...errm, I mean...important they are to me.
I bet I'm going to make Ibu jealous if I have these shoes.
My current shoes make the chot-chot sounds when I walk. It's noisy but nenek knows that I've reached her house when I make my visit to Pasir Ris. :D
