We have some activities lined up for us in this school holidays...yippee! Ayah will be on reservist after the 2nd half of June so family outings are limited to days which Ayah has no duty.

Our first family outing is to the East Coast beach. I had been to the beach in a school outing and we had so much fun that we requested Ayah to bring us there again. Fortunately it was a sunny day and we reached the beach at 11am. We built sandcastles and dipped our feet in the water. We wanted to find some seashells but there weren't any. Ayah only found a dead fish and a dried fruit.

While we were having fun building sandcastles, a man suddenly came running to inform Ayah that one of our bags had been stolen. He's actually a plainclothes policeman and was on a lookout for a serial thief. The thief was caught by a group of policemen and we got our bag back. Phew! What an adventure!

The policemen crowded our picnic area and asked Ayah some questions. We had to stop playing and cleaned up to have our lunch. Bummer! Adek napped after lunch and we stopped at McDonald's for some dessert. I also had a chance to play a while at the playground while waiting for adek to wake up. Adek joined me when she woke up and we played for a while before we hailed a cab to go back. We will definitely visit the beach again.
