on new years dayLike many singaporeans, we spent our new year's day SHOPPING. We went out with Mak Ngah's family and nenek to AudioHouse at Liang Court to get 'something-which-I'm-not-supposed-to-tell-yet'. Anyway I was only interested in the escalators at the shop and after persistent wailings, Mak Ngah brought me down the escalator while Ibu and Ayah shop around for their stuff. Later we went up the escalator again to go to the furniture shop just a level above AudioHouse. I sat at a couple of sofas with Abang Alif while the rest oooh'ed and aaah'ed at the items there. After Ibu & Ayah bought what's on their list, Uncle Azhar drove us to IMM where we had our dinner at Bali Thai. There were a lot of people in the restaurant and all the babychairs had been taken. I had no choice but to sit with Ayah and have my dinner while Ibu ate her favourite tomyum soup and some other nice dishes. When it was Ayah's turn to have his dinner, Ibu brought me out to have a lil look around. Ibu let me walk around this huge area where people were walking by. I felt very small (duh!) walking amongst all these giants. The tiles were a tad slippery too and I fell quite a number of times trying to balance myself and avoiding all these BIG people. I definitely need a new pair of shoes with better rubber soles.
