The cure for missing socks

It's the socks-wearing season because it has been raining cats and dogs (and goats and cows...) outside and the floor's a bit cold. Socks can be troublesome to wear because they don't stay long on my feet after walking around the house. And then I saw this "Socks On" on babygadget.

...like little Velcro jackets that 'lock' the sock in place. They've won a 'best new invention' award and been talked up in various baby magazines. Apparently, they are 'indispensable'.
Sure or not? This one looks like something Ibu will wear when she sprains her ankles last time. It's so totally not cool.
