We got our very own vending machine although it's made of cardboard. The vending machine can 'dispense' snacks (you can make one that dispense drinks or even both!) as long as there's someone in the box. The person inside the box needs to wait for the customers' coins and his/her choice. We got this one from a charity playdate which we didn't (unfortunately) managed to join because we were very sick. We sure didn't want to pass any germs to our little friends. But from the pictures that Ibu took, the event sure looked very very exciting! I wish we can join such events next time.

Everytime we go to nenek+atok's house, we will surely turn their house into our mini playground. Well, actually we turned the house upside down. :p It's rather messy actually with tents and foam mats. We even 'hijacked' Umar's little car and drove it around the house. I hope he doesn't mind! hehe. We always look forward to going to atok+nenek's house.

We just discovered a new playground at Bishan! It's situated at Junction 8 and not many people aware about this play area too since Ibu's friends were surprised when they found out. It is an outdoor playground and Ibu thinks it looks more like a cage. haha. It's interesting actually. It has slide and climbing structures inside it. The upper part was more for older kids so unfortunately we can't really accessed that part because we are short. It's fun for first timers like us but I think we got bored after a while although there were other play features we can play at the playground. I still prefer those old-school playgrounds with swings, slides and roundabouts.

We went to Pasir Ris Kid's Kampong in the morning at Pasir Ris Farmway. There were lots of pets at the kid's kampong like hamsters and rabbits. It also has a longkang fishing facility for kids. We paid $10 per person to have 1 hour of longkang fishing, 2 packs of animal feeds, 1 ice cream and 1 bottle of mineral water. Don't expect the guppies to jump into your net magically. They are not stupid. It took me quite some time to catch some. I guess they must have been traumatised by the throngs of kids who wanted to catch them and recognised the nets already.

After filling our buckets with the guppies, we proceeded to the pet area to take a look at the rabbits, ducks, tortoises and other small animals there. We also fed them the animal food we got initially. There was a pond which was crowded with kois and they scrambled to us whenever we are near. They must have been terribly hungry! We spent almost 2 hours there before we dropped by nenek's place. We didn't bring any guppies home although we could because that would mean we have to get a tank for them. I wanted to but Ibu was against the idea. We enjoyed our ice cream at the provided table and chairs before we marched to the nearest bus stop which was very, very far.

I woke up really really early this morning and helped Ibu make some pancakes for breakfast. They weren't really ordinary pancakes because they don't look like normal round pancakes. I found a pancake art site called (Jim's pancakes) while surfing the internet recently and thought it would be nice if we can also make one. And check out this website too for pancake art inspiration! Of course, mine are nothing compared to the professionally-done ones. I started with very simple designs like a cone with 2 ice cream scoops and a butterfly. I am very sure I can come up with more complicated pancake designs next time!
