We went to the doctor to get myself assessed. Well, I've always been petite as compared to my peers. It's not as if I haven't been eating well. In fact, Ibu has been feeding me with protein-rich foods such as fish but I'm still pretty small.

True enough I was underweight when the doctor checked my weight. I am only 11.2kg at nearly 3yrs old. The doc checked my tummy, my heartbeat and discussed with Ibu and Ayah on what kind of foods to give me. Basically the advice was to pump in more food especially fish. He also prescribed appetisers and some vitamin pills. We will have to come back after a week to see whether my weight has improved.

I was never close to my other cousin, Adam, because I was terrified of my Obek (uncle in Boyanese). Maybe it's Obek's physical presence that I was nervous about. He looks like Ayah but he's HE-YUGE! But yesterday Ibu secretly made a deal with Mak Long to bring Adam to the library to meet me. When I saw Adam, I decided to sit far far away from him and asked for my tengteng (read: pacifier). When I'm nervous, I need my tengteng. But he saw me and waddled to me..gah!

Well, we warmed up to each other eventually but not until he decided to grab my tengteng, thinking it was 'mamam!'. When I refused to give, he became a bit more demanding and that's that. In a true manner of a damsel in distress, I whimpered. Adam decided to check out some books and he left me alone to do some doodling on a piece of paper...for a while. He tried grabbing the paper away from me but I was quick enough to retaliate. He sure had quick reflexes. I decided enough is enough and wanted to go back. I thought I could give him a chance but well, maybe we can be chums again when he's a bit bigger.

Bik Rosi came to my house with her 2 nephews and her niece for a potluck session. A potluck is when each person who comes must bring a dish of food to be shared among everyone. Actually there was another Ibu's friend who was supposed to come but she cancelled the last minute. Well, too bad then because she missed all the good food. hehehee. We had pizzas, roast chicken, a choc mousse cake (that's for Ibu's pre-birthday celebration actually and she ate a LOT of it) and some other snacks. I had my lunch earlier so I didn't disturb them much. And they were lucky because it's near my naptime so I was a bit subdued.

I showed Bik Rosi's niece, Kak Nana, my books and we did some colouring stuffs. We even watched an episode of Blue's Clues together. The boys weren't too happy because well, they are boys. :P But I had a blast and I hope to see them again sometime soon.

What's so fun about painting is it's a very messy activity. Besides a brush, you can also dip half a potato to make some prints on your paper. Just take a potato and cut it into half. get your mummy to carve a simple shape like a star and voila! You can then put some paint on a plate or whatever that is flat and dip the potato stamp into the paint. To create your print, just press the potato onto the paper. Cool, isn't it? What's cooler is that you can mix the primary colours (red, blue, yellow) to get other colours like green and purple.

We had a party yesterday just for me. It's not even my birthday and nobody's celebrating anything. I suddenly wanted to eat a cake when I watched Raggs which had a scene of him eating a cake. Ibu didn't have any ingredients to make one and even if she has, I don't think she can bake for me fast enough so we went to the polarpuffs at J8 in the evening. There were a few cakes left and fortunately one of my favourite character cake was there...Thomas&Friends! I was a happy duck that evening. :D

Like most weekends when I'm having a sleepover in Pasir Ris, Aunty Zah would bring me to Ikea for a jalan2 and guess what, we met Ibu and Ayah there last weekend! They were actually looking for a shelf for my ever-growing collection books and toys.

However when I came back to Bishan, there wasn't any shelf but I got a brand-new set of the Mammut table and chair. Apparently the shelf was out of stock and they had to wait for a few more weeks to get it. Oh well...
